Our Warranty
Kuhn’s Roofing Company warrants to the original purchaser/property owner that any installation procedures performed will be free from workmanship defects for the lifetime of the shingle as determined by manufacturer of the product. Any work that is performed on previously installed products including any reinstallation shall be warranted to be free from workmanship defects for a period of thirty (30) days.

This Workmanship Warranty covers defects due to installed work only. The company will provide service without charge for the lifetime of any installed shingled roof if any problem occurs due to faulty workmanship. Furthermore, Kuhn’s Roofing Company shall provide service for the lifetime of the shingle warranty as determined by manufacturer if: 1.) a leak occurs inside of premises where new roof is installed (adjoining residences are specifically excluded), or 2.) If any shingle, cap, roof flashing or ventilation housing is blown off. A leak must definitively be determined to have been caused by a failure of the installed roofing system, its components, or as a result of faulty workmanship. Leaks that arise from any other source are explicitedly denied coverage of any kind under the terms of this warranty. Product defects of any other kind will be deemed as “Warranty Service” and Kuhn’s Roofing Company will provide service without charge for a period of five (5) years. A service request made after this time will be charged to the customer at the prevailing rate of labor. Service shall be rendered exclusively Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 3:30pm.

In the event of a Workmanship or Product defect, please contact our office immediately at 302-994-6990 by phone or by e-mail at servicedepartment@comcast.net. When you first experience a problem, immediate contact is extremely important and may prevent further damage. Please be prepared to give a detailed description of the defect.

If interior damage occurs inside of the original owner’s home as a result of a warranted leak claim described herein above, then Kuhn’s Roofing Company shall opt to make repair itself or offer up to a maximum one time settlement of $200.00. This decision shall be solely left to the discretion of Kuhn’s Roofing Company Executive Management.

Transfer of Warranty – Warranty maybe transferred one time without prejudice to the terms and conditions set forth in this guarantee provided transfer is made with five (5) years of roofing contract date. Claim must be made in writing to Kuhn’s Warranty Division, 11 McMillan Way, Newark, DE 19713 and must include copy of Deed Transfer and a $50 transfer fee. Claims will not be processed unless this process is complete. Claim must also be made within 15 days of deed transfer. Terms of this transfer policy will be strictly enforced.

The Warranty Terms and Statements contained in this certificate set forth the only express warranties extended by Kuhn’s Roofing Company for Warranty Work and any extensions made by representatives of the company must be made in writing.
